CNBC's Cramer on Easterbook

Cramer: "the franchises have to be won over before they can win over the customers. Thompson lost the franchisers, the most important constituency. If they turn around
the franchisers, Cramer says, then the customers will come back."

Call them "franchisers" or "franchisees" Cramer's right
.

Jim's kind of loud and obnoxious but he's dead on on this one, let's hope easterbook is as capable as jim thinks.

We have been second class citizens for several years. The super bowl food giveaway implemented without a field vote is a good example. Until we get our respect from the corp back the situation will not improve

Did OPNAD just rubber stamp that idea?

OPNAD never even voted on it. It was forced by McD MARKETING

Are there many Operators declining to participate?

Anonymous said...

Unfortunately most all operators are participating because corp has framed the choice as a no brainier that if it was not done then the operator was disloyal or not entrepreneurs

So we have a bunch of wealthy bureaucrats who've never owned a business and in many cases never run a business passing judgement on the "entrepreneurship" of real business owners?

Owner Operator's/Indentured Servant's when we come out of our "Stepford Wives" Numbness and earnestly realize that the McDonald's Model is not what it used to be, then many of us should start planning how to get out of this before all our equity is gone. Read the Article about Chipolte'. I remember an Operator telling me years ago "are you going to believe in a 10 year company (Chipolte') or one that has a 45 year history (McDonald's) The clues have been right in front of us, and for McDonalds to not apply any of the learning's from Helping Chipolte' become what it is today is plain ARROGANT! Rome is burning!
