Why was the blog section taken down on the website? There was one post by the guy that started the meetings and then great responses.

The current McDonald’s regime has some serious long-term problems on their hands. They have successfully eliminated the relationship between the company and the franchisees, flushed most experience down the drain, and really believe they know what they are doing when they clearly don’t. Our current OPNAD [Operators National Advertising] plan isn’t working, BBV2020 isn’t yielding the returns with franchisees over-leveraged, technology in the stores isn’t reliable and is becoming more expensive. The insanity continues to get worse and owner/operators need to actually achieve something at the NOA meetings. If we don’t take the business back there will not be much of one left in years to come.

Some of the communication recently received from the company indicates that they know they have a problem and have admitted to problems with "TRUST" and their own management tactics and attitude. It is like they want to destroy the business. Once the Owners organization is formalized lead by experienced large operators we can get our position across without being ignored. I'm told that OPNAD is owned now by the operators. That means, I think, that we collect the money and spend it like we want to. The company has been successful at manipulating operator leadership in OPNAD and elsewhere. Hopefully, those days will soon be behind us. The important point is that the company knows we mean business and that we want what is best for the business. The money to run the company comes from the stores. Nowhere else. Yeah, their smart and yeah, they have a lot of power but that doesn't mean they are right.
