And as a modern, progressive hamburger company, McOpCo will raise their minimum wage to $16/hr. in 2018. San Francisco is certainly not a "sanctuary city" for owner/operators.

Operators in large cities run by liberal progressives will take a double hit from the policies of a liberal progressive management team in Oak Brook.

As we raise prices Oak Brook also makes out in the deal because their rent and service fees rise.

This goes on. F. O. R. E. V. E. R,!!!!!!!!!!

For McOpCo that was a one time event (at least for now) paying $1 over the current min wage starting this July 1st. If your state raises the min wage say Jan 1st 2016 or next July etc. McOpCo will start at that current min wage not $1 higher that is their current plan.

California Assembly Labor and Employment Committee just voted 5-2 to raise the State minimum wage to $13/hr by Jan 2017. Modern and progressive.

With more than one million people in attendance and watching on TV, the McDonald’s of the Greater Bay Area Co-op was proud to be an official sponsor of the 45th Annual San Francisco Pride Parade and Festival on June 27-28. McDonald’s had a booth in the festival area and a marching contingent (along with a Duck Boat) in the parade.

There was a great turnout of over 80 McDonald’s participants – from owner/operators to staff and restaurant crew, along with their families and friends – all wearing limited edition T-shirts and handing out giveaways to excited parade watchers and festival goers.

Over the course of this two-day celebration, which saw record attendance and is the largest event of its kind, more than 1,000 McDonald’s T-shirts were distributed to attendees along with 2,000 branded sunglasses and 4,500 bags of apple slices. Many attendees remarked how proud they were of McDonald’s sponsorship and support of the LGBT community and how surprised they were that McDonald’s was sampling a healthy snack.

Greece is the word!

Well, I'm glad someone was happy with the sponsorship because the Corporation and the California legislature are doing to the San Francisco owner/operators what the participants in the Pride Parade do to each other. Modern and progressive.

WHY would a child and family focused restaurant support a Gay Pride Event ?????
