McDonald's has a long tradition of placing McDonald's suppliers on the BOD. While they've moved away from that somewhat over the years there is no way a supplier of goods and services to the McDonald's system can make tough calls about changes in management or policy.

Why is there not an Operator on the BOD ?? We operate 90% of the stores !

Dick Adams for the BOD !!!!!

That's flattering but I don't associate with corporate people.

The closest person to ever pierce the corporate veil as an Operator was Paul Saber. I think he is much happier now in Panera.

When a company makes consistently bad decisions a day of reckoning will come. It happened recently within staff although not enough. However, the policies that lead to those problems were supported by the board. Management has too much influence on the Board. With Grace and dignity they need to step aside.

We need an Operator on the Board is right. This will be our liaison to building our future. This operator will be voted in, and can be voted out with a replacement at anytime from the Operator Group.

Nice idea but it will never happen.
