But Dunkin has some pesky, pushy and powerful franchise owners impossible to push around. That makes me think JAB would pause. On the flip side, those franchisee are highly unified and sophisticated, unlike in some more chaotic systems, so if JAB has a plan to get their buy in to JAB plans, it could work.
They have to avoid the fiasco that 3G's Restaurant Brands finds itself in with Tim Hortons franchisees.
