There are two dozen states that are considering or proposing State legislation that will impact us. MCD will not publicly fight it ($$),just give it lip service. The NFLA has no plan either. If you read your NOA Sunday email, you would see that the NOA IS addressing this. Every owner should join and support the NOA in this struggle.

After electoral victories gave Democrats a majority in both chambers of the Michigan Legislature for the first time in 40 years, legislative leaders have taken aim at the state’s right-to-work law.
Right-to-work laws, which currently exist in 27 states, allow employees to decide whether to join or financially support a labor union. Proponents of right-to-work laws argue that right-to-work states attract more jobs than states that are not right-to-work. Opponents argue that allowing workers to opt out of paying union dues while still benefiting from union collective bargaining and representation is unfair.
