On paper, the 21% U.S. corporate tax rate was a permanent cornerstone of the 2017 tax law,a boon to business without the expiration date attached to other provisions. In reality, that low rate is only as solid as Republicans’ ability to hold and wield power in Washington.
That Republican bulwark could vanish next month, taking the corporate rate cut with it and upending the planning companies had done around the 21% rate. Democrats, with a chance to control the House,Senate and White House, want to raise the rate to 28%. President Trump says he would cut it to 20% in a second term. The tax-rate increase, plus other policies proposed by Democrat Joe Biden, would lower profits and raise costs of operating abroad. The Biden
proposal, when combined with state taxes, would push the U.S.back toward the high end of industrialized countries’ corporate rates,

VOTE Democrat and PAY MORE!

Mr. Biden is also proposing substantial increases in business tax rates that will raise the
cost of capital. The former Vice President likes to say he’d only raise the top corporate tax rate to 28% from 21%. But so-called pass-through entities (often small businesses) employ more than 40 million Americans, and most pay taxes at the individual tax rate.
Biden’s plan to raise personal income and payroll tax rates would push their federal rates
from below 40 percent to, often, above 50 percent, and these are on top of state income taxes,

Mr. Biden would also raise capital costs by phasing down bonus depreciation in the 2017 tax
reform, and he’d raise labor costs by imposing the 12.4% Social Security payroll tax to income above $400,000. The $400,000 threshold isn’t indexed for inflation so it would apply to evermore Americans as the years go by.

There is much more especially on the costs of returning to Obama-style regulation. Most of the media will ignore it, The risk from Joe Biden’s policies isn’t that they will send the economy reeling right away. The problem is that they will have a long-term corrosive impact by raising the cost of capital, reducing the incentive to work and invest, and reducing productivity across the economy. Americans will pay the price in a lower standard of living than they otherwise would

Voting DEMOCRAT as as business owner hoping for it to improve your business, is likely chosing DISNEY (a union shop) to help improve your employee staffing.

Oh, wait...

Former McDonald's USA CEO Ed Resni on Facebook:

I just had a conversation with a Washington DC think tank executive! The discussion was about job creation and an analysis of Basement Joes Biden’s economic impact on job creation or loss. I was really surprised at the true data implications. Just one tax increase on tax payers to 21% will eliminate 2 million jobs. Reason, 95% of all taxes collected come from middle class. The big money people / entities have terrific resources to avoid taxes. The middle class does not. 90% of all USA business are small businesses( defined as under 500 employees)! However, the greatest numbers of small businesses have less than 10 employees. A tax increase on these small business such as franchisees restaurants would eliminate 56% of their profit on average. The only variable (serious) cost is labor.
The result is 2 million workers mostly BLACK and Hispanic will lose their jobs. ( keep in mind a bunch are already furloughed)! The next big hit will be in oil and natural gas.
Forget about the stupidity of the new green deal! Keep in mind Obama and basement Joe Biden put $550 million into Solyndra and lost every dime. Currently it’s projected that 720 million tons of wind turbine blades will be buried or burned starting after 10 years of use.
Just think about environmental impact and job loss.
We the people can’t afford Basement Joe Biden.
Every Black, Hispanic and environmentalist need to understand how bad this guy is. He is a liar, thief and weak spined. I have even stronger opinions but not for face book.

I don't know if Ed was as conservative when he worked for McDonald's but he sure would be an outcast in today's McDonald's.

And yet, there is a strong number of operators that will not only vote Democrat, but donate substantially to its destructive cause.

Theyre need for acceptance is that strong. Its why they gravitate to internal leadership positions, only to sell out to corp... they get fed (and need) that recognition. It exceeds their logic and they will follow that lead to the deteriment of themself, their business and the entire system.

I spent some time with Ed when he attended the weight loss program at Duke. He is most definitely a pro business conservative.

More on our future-

On todays Bethesda Field Office Webcast, FO-VP Harry Thomas had a black female Christian Gospel group as "entertainment". Modern, Progressive , and very PC! One question- Could this be considered discrimination against non-Christians? Let the lawsuit begin !

One more time- We are a FAMILY Restaurant and should avoid ALL political, religious, and social justice issues!!!!!!!!!!

Wonder what it cost them? Your Rent and Service Fees at work.

Liberals/Progressives are people who cant (or wont) take care of themselves so they look to the government(or others) to do it for them.

That is our future.

Two years ago, President Donald Trump set Democrat Party heads on fire when he declared — correctly — that their “Fake News” media propagandists were the "enemy of the American people."

The MSM talkingheads condemned Trump for daring to suggest that their words incite fear, anger, and disunity. But that’s what Democrats and their MSM publicists do best, most recently fanning the flames of social unrest amid a pandemic, in effect backing their Marxist Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA mobs.

President Trump's assessment was right on the mark.

Contemplate, if you will, what the American political landscape would look like if the collective mainstream media reporting was neutral — and what a seismic political shift to the right we’d see. But alas, accurately reporting on the leftist record is of no interest to them

Democrats and their deep-state operators have spent the last three years trying to take President Trump down — first with their fabricated 2016 Russia-collusion lies, then, when that failed, they impeached him for a high crime in Ukraine that Joe Biden actually bragged about having committed.

Biden, Harris, Schumer, and Pelosi would like to shutter our nation in the darkness of socialist oppression under their limitless statist power. The vast majority of Americans are good and decent people — however disoriented some on the Left may become.

The truth is, most Americans simply want the opportunity to prosper, to be secure in their persons and property, to support their family, to care for others, and to live in peace. Unfortunately, those common desires will progressively elude them under the leadership of Democrat Party socialists.

Please Do Not despair. The Election has been over for 3.5 years.

TRUMP WILL WIN IN A LANDSLIDE.

You can take it to the bank.

Trying to figure out rates, to determine jumping off integrated cashless. With nearly 80% sales now running thru CASHLESS, even a fractional savings is a ton of money.

I find it odd, these service level ageeements arent posted ANYWHERE.

Cashless costs are so high to provide $$ for the kickbacks to Mcdonalds

Sad no one knows the actual contracted rates... but doesnt challenge them either.
