I didn't read the article, but did try the food. It's subpar. They can be fast and accurate, but if the food does not taste great, it will die off.

Tried the food. VERY slow drive thru speed and food was mediocre.

Was nasty then, is nasty now too. But was a great excuse to discount. Nothing spreads a confidence of QUALITY to consumers, like price cutting! (Sarcasm)

I have done MCD to long like most of you

We have friends - children - grand children
ECT - ask them about MCD - BK - WENDYS
always discounting my sons are in their
40’s my friends are in their 60’s all the
younger people meaning my kids and
their friends - let alone collage and younger
ALL THAT THEY THINK ABOUT MCD
BK & WEN is discount - discount -
discount - free - free - free

now CULVERS - 5 GUYS - IN & OUT
and yes CHICK FIL A - do not play that
game - when I go to Vegas there is
an IN & OUT by NEW YORK - NEW
YORK - must do over 6 million - a
MCD 1 mile away empty

RICHARD what happened to our
GREAT company - where customers
drive by our discounts and go to
these other restaurants?

How busy would they be if they gave it
away like us?

That Inn Out Burger in Vegas in the Lynq and the one off the strip are FULL nonstop. No discounts offered and nothing advertised. The McDonalds nearby? Not so much, but everything is on sale there!

Read their advertising, QUALITY takes time. View their lobbys, QUALITY is displayed everywhere. Watch their advertising, QUALITY.

Discounting impacts Quality perception. Why would you trash good food? But you can discount garbage, right?!

In a growin health conscience enviroment, QUALITY is important. Whats funnier, McDonalds is FAST FOOD. And In & Out is a healthier choice! Really!?

Reminds me when Dave Thomas was alive with his commericals. WENDYS QUALITY scores were never higher. Their food hasnt changed, just the messaging. Its the enviroment we live in, where customers are told what to believe. Its what they hear, read on the internet..

Unfortunately, we have generational discounters.. Theres no serious marketing left in McDonaldLand. Operators cant do anything, without discounting it. For the 1st time National is launching McRib. First action of the COOPS... discount it.

Cant even run a 6 week promotion, to make money... must discount it.
