Owner/Operators on Reopening Dining Rooms - "Not So Fast"

Reopening Plans Face Reluctance from some McDonald's franchisees - Bloomberg

They want dining rooms reopened, but wont relax the requirement that our crews, especially grill, sweat to death in hot masks! This is a significant disadvantage in hiring during this crisis.

Furthermore, what of beverage bars? The CDC has said solid surface covid exposure is null. And the playlands? I am being forced to MRP/remodel a playland that has been closed for 14 months, and that may never reopen again or be accepted by the public.

How does this edict affect the legal liability to the store if covid does infect someone? Will McD share joint liability? You can be sure that some lawyer will have MCDs deep pockets in his crosshairs.

Or the SEIU . Mcd only reinforces the claim that MCD is a joint employer

I agree with the above. The mcd upper managers are clueless.

You'd think sane people would be pissed paying 100% rent on a facility they forced 50% closure in the use to generate income.
