McDonald’s CEO is Going to Change the World

"McDonald’s can change the world in a way that no other company can" - NRN

The new McDonald's system anthem:
(Tune: I'd like to buy the world a Coke)

I'd like to build the world a home
And furnish it with love
Grow apple trees and honey bees
And snow white turtle doves
I'd like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
I'd like to hold it in my arms
And keep it company
I'd like to see the world for once
All standing hand in hand
And hear them echo through the hills
For peace through out the land
(That's the song I hear)
I'd like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
I'd like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
I'd like to build the world a home
And furnish it with love
Grow apple trees and honey bees
And snow white turtle doves
I'd like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
I'd like to hold it in my arms
And keep it company

Instagram? Isn't it kind of strange for the McDonald's CEO to reach out to McDonald's employees when 95% of those employees work for franchisees?

I agree with previous post

Leave MY EMPLOYEES alone

I have dozens that have worked over
20 years for me - MGT & CREW now this
little person wants to share thoughts with
my team NO WAY

RESIGN CRIS - before World Wide
give us something to celebrate in
Orlando - that arena is not big enough
for real MCD team members & you

Leave our employees alone

I believe if Chris wants to assess employees, he needs to visit his field offices where the majority (if not all) of the current business consultants are now with under 2 weeks of actual McDonald's restaurant experience.

Chris needs to then evaluate the SERVICE fee operators pay, and reflect on what brand expertise exactly does the franchisor offer the field? My personal opinion, NOTHING! They are a bunch of clip-board carrying graders, with near zero practical experience.

Lastly, Chris needs to reflect on these sorts of corporate actions, that ONCE AGAIN, make it seem that McDonald's is a JOINT EMPLOYER with its franchisees. I understand how technology makes it seem easy for corporation to have the REMOTE control of the restaurants. Maybe, some even believe in that model, forgetting how corporate ran McOpCo stores. Now they have even less operational experience in their ranks.

More importantly, operators need to ask themselves - where's THEIR leadership teams in addressing this maleficence? Scared, and under the table? Again!

Any communication into a franchise restaurant has to be thru and approved by the franchise operator. Corporate surely demands any communication into their system be solely through and by the franchise operator. It's no different in communications going the opposite direction. Franchise operator leadership needs to send that message loud and clear - and not weeks later.

Here's Chris K giving fuel to the joint employer crowd. Dummy is his own worst enemy. Wake up!

How CK and Steve ruined MCD-

-dumped Ronald
-under values Operators. Pits operator vs operator
-de-personalized service (Kiosks etc)
-unreliable,expensive, obsolete technology
-held stockholders interests above Operators
-treated Operators like employees
-destroyed the MCD Legacy of home town MCD
-de-emphasized LSM and Local Marketing
-political correctness which has destroyed our family image
-so environmentally obsessed that we stopped using products that protected our quality
-"one size fits all" approach has made the MCD experience cold and sterile
-misread consumer trends (chicken sandwich, Styrofoam etc)
-forgotten or ignored the learning of the past 6 decades which built our success

There are many more.
RIP -McDonalds

I see a new lawsuit has been publicly announced against Stock Price Steve, Clueless Chris and McDonald’s version of a corrupt mob boss Charlie Strong. Hopefully this will be the beginning of the end for the last 2 stooges still employed by Corp.

Hey just read of McDonald's expanding technology to address an all important matter. You ready..... wait for it...… UPSELLING! Yep, you can't make this stuff up anymore.

UPSELLING! The simple task we told crew to STOP DOING for Ask, Ask, Tell. Corporation is gonna pay extensive amounts of money to have technology add that basic model back into the sale process.

This is what we get with people that have no history of the brand.

PREPARE TO GO BACK TO THE FUTURE!

"Corporation is gonna pay extensive amounts of money to have technology"

Actually, Owner/Operators are going to pay dearly to use this technology since these platforms are profit centers for McDonald's Corp.
