Several analysts. gave very positive reviews of MCD, but the one that corporate will pay attention to (a lone voice) is: Conversely, Melius initiated coverage with a Sell rating, expressing concerns over McDonald’s value proposition and pricing strategies. " LET THE DISCOUNTING FEVER BEGIN!
Analysts pay far too much attention to new products or what they call "new product innovation", or "the pipeline".They refuse to agree that, in McDonald's history, there have only been three significant new product introductions: the Big Mac, the Quarter Pounder, and Chicken McNuggers. Everything else has been variations on those themes.
Remember when there were CosMc's drive-thrus (a few months ago) and the press coverage was all about the huge lines of cars waiting forever to get served? Most of those cars were rentals from O'Hare occupied by analysts and reporters from around the country. Once they'd written their reports and stories, there was no reason to get back to CosMc's, and corporate closed it up. .
Fun Fact: Most airport codes make sense - San Diego = SAN, Los Angeles = LAX, Seattle Tacoma = SEA, Birmingham = BHM, La Guardia = LGA, etc.
Then why is Chicago ORD? ..... From Google's AI:
Chicago's O'Hare International Airport is called "ORD" because it was originally built on a site called Orchard Field, which later became Orchard Place. The airport code "ORD" is derived from this original name, specifically "OR" for Orchard and "D" for the second letter of Field, according to the Chicago Department of Aviation. While the airport was officially renamed O'Hare International Airport in 1949 to honor World War II hero Edward "Butch" O'Hare, the airport code remained ORD. .

ORD often confused by Boston people with ORH, the Worcester, MA airport. Which should really be called WOO. LOL. Much better marketing
