What is wrong with him that he keeps doing that? Doesn't he have any adult supervision?

He has a responsibility to inform investors of significant events, but couldn't this have waited until their February 5th investor conference call? But, if this was an internal memo, it would not have served that purpose.

Or, management is expecting some bad things to happen, and he wants to be in a position to blame everything on franchisees in various countries.

We sell HAMBURGERS. We should NEVER comment on politics, religion, social issues, or international issues. If he wants to comment on this, resign from CEO and run for political office. MORON!!!

I am ASHAMED of my Franchisor, and embarrassed to be involved with them.

I can imagine the post cases press conference:"If only the franchisees had followed my playbook and all of my advice that comes from my deep restaurant operations experience."
