Who votes and who counts the votes?

probably not the correct spot for this comment, but I was recently reviewing MCD financials. Since 2015 MCD has doubled the amount of debt it has. From roughly 15 Billion to 31 Billion as of last qtr. Then I was curious as to where that money went. The amount of shares outstanding from 2015 to today has gone from 962 Million to 770 Million. difference of 192 Million

The average share price over this time was from 31 to 174 = 102. So MCD has generated 19 Billion (102 x 192 Million) from spending 15 Billion in debt buying back its own shares.

Buying back 192 million shares over the last 4 years has done relatively well for the company. ALTHOUGH, it's masked the deterioration of the restaurants. I love seeing MCD folks on TV talking about how donut sticks "saved breakfast"

Easterbrook the guy who Brought donut sticks to the US. "while steadily relying on stock buybacks to keep the share price high." and, probably artificially inflated the price with its buybacks.... All that glitters is NOT gold.

Only the NFLA Representative per coop can vote. I'm not sure who counts the votes.

Voting ABJ.

Not sure what ABJ stands for. ??? My Way Of thinking is AB-NLC or Anybody But NLC folks

I am a NFLA Rep and I am voting for Mark. He stuck his neck out for us, Now it is time to take a stand for him. He is his on man, were Lisa has the backing of too many former Chairmen. It is time to do something new.

I have heard from almost all of the folks running for the elected positions. Many of the former NLC members that are running want to be collaborative, this is the same attitude that has gotten us where we are today. Do not get me wrong, I want to work with McD. But we have been so collaborative that it has put us in jeopardy.

So ALL my votes will be going to folks that have NOT been on the NLC or OpNAD in the last 5 yrs.
It is time for NEW Leadership, It is time to Protect the Operators Cash Flow and it is time to MMGA, with Good Food, Great Service and Clean Restaurants.

Damn straight! Mark is a great operator and he'll be a great leader. We don't need a politician- that's the kind of behavior that got us here in the first place! #MMGA

Please vote for Mark if you want change for the better you already see what his partnership with the NOA has done.

Who has seen the survey circulating about Chris and Steve? I wholly support it’s mission, I believe Chris K will only lead this company into the dirt. For McDonald’s to be Great Again, we need Great leadership Again!

Mark for Chair! When I heard and saw LISA all I could think was she sounded just like Susan S.

Don’t forget that Robert Gibbs works for McDonald’s. A former White House secretary might try and meddle in elections.

As a NFLA voting member, I have received a number of calls from my constituents, stating they have received calls from McD. Company people asking them to help push Lisa across the line for The Chair.

We (my Constituents & Me) are Solidly in Mark’s Camp. He stuck his neck out for us and I am so Thankful for that. We need an ADVOCATE and we Believe that is Mark S.

Yes, Mark for Chair!! I am behind him 100%. And yes I saw the survey Somebody is up to something and I like it!

I'm not sure about Robert Gibbs... he's perhaps a "Trojan horse" within McD. He certainly didn't help the state of Illinois out yesterday with the minimum wage vote. Sad, it's mcd hq and they don't even advocate on behalf of its operators. It seems our only advocate is the NOA at this point.

Where did this survey come from? I have not seen it. And I agree about Mark. He will help the operators be able to lead again.

As the article states the survey was conducted by the NOA.

This was a different survey. Asking if i support Steve and Chris stepping down from the leadership, which i said yes!

MMGA!

Mark would be a great Chairman.

Mark would be great.. but the fix is in as few NFLA reps have reached put to their constituents for whom to vote. They all been directed on how to vote. You want fair, it has to be anonymous and third party.

I would be interesting for the NOA to cast a separate vote to match percentages.

Who has directed them? Their constituents? The company?

I'm so happy, as surprised Mark was able to hold on! There may be light at the end of the tunnel after all! Now there needs to be a quick agenda of priorities set to address items. With an strong ability to multitask! Discounting, SAM, BBV, simplification!
