I'm From Chicago And I'm Here to Help

NOA survey and our Kalinowski survey say:

“The PACE audits will hold us back from building sales and will increase our turnover of employees. The worst time in the history of the system to implement such a program,” one respondent said. “Stop PACE programs, which will decimate the staffs we need to operate,” another said. Overall, the proprietary survey ranks franchisee relations with corporate a 1.19 on a scale of 1 to 5, the third-worst score in its history dating back to mid-2003.

Nah, not as long as the stock price stays sky high at record levels, and their paychecks and golden parachutes get fatter and fatter. /smh

No wonder Erlinger sold 42% of his McDonald stock. He knows this will hurt sales.

The only way we stop this travesty is to tell our story to the press. Many credible reporters will allow you to remain anonymous if you wish. We need to get the word out.

Let me correct a word for you - it's not "many" but "all" credible reporters will allow you to remain anonymous. I have a few decades of experience working with the media and I've never seen anyone get "burned".
Look at it this way - McDonald's is a tough company to cover because Owner/Operators rarely talk to reporters.
So, if you're a reporter and you find an O/O who will talk to you off the record why would you reveal their identity and eliminate a wonderful source?
And, if you reveal a source your competitors (other reporters) will start calling that person. You don't want that!
By the way, the same goes for Wall Street analysts. They don't want their competition to know the identity of their "Channel Checks".

And let's define "credible" - Someone who works for a major publication and is more than just a website address. You want your message out to the world, not just Smalltown USA.
The domain name on their e-mail address should be the name of the company, not Gmail, Yahoo, etc.

Very true Richard. McD has had operators scared to talk to the media for years. Yet when the suits in Chicago have the press in for a visit, it is portrayed as if everything is great!
Speak up or suffer more...
