PJB Desperately Seeking More McKinsey

Emily Reasor joins McDonald's Star Chamber.

“One former McKinsey consultant wrote anonymously, ¨To those convinced that a secretive cabal controls the world, the usual suspect are Illuminati, Lizard People, or ´globalists.' They are wrong, naturally. There is no secret society shaping every major decision and determining the direction of human history. There is, however, McKinsey & Company.”

McKinsey has had a very negative influence on many companies, including MCD. Why on earth would we bring another one on board?

With McKinseys influence, be prepared for more "service" cuts ,layoffs, and cost shifting to operators.

Walt Bogdanich, "When McKinsey Comes to Town" is a MUST READ. It details in great accuracy the adverse effects of McKinseys advice and counsel. Only PJB would want to be associated with them.

Guess PJB with all his education is dumb as a stump, granted he is enjoying his quick rich personal gains. He with his Ivy League liberalism surrounds himself with similar people. Wall Street remember in 2023 multiple groups of McDonald's leadership Operators and Networks voted no confidence. He has no respect of operations focused individuals both n corporate staff and Owner/Operators. He is using his McKinsey recommendations to gut experience individuals from the system. A restaurant company run by marketing people and weak skilled accountants. Their only answer is to promo food and price fix through marketing. McKinsey values and focuses are leading McDonald's dismal results. Wal Street wake up another disaster coming to town. Sales continue to underperform. US SLT needs a MRP time for replacement.

As a former leadership operator for decades ( coop, zone, ROAB, NOAB, NLC, OPNAD, NOA ) now retired, I can positively say that the McKinsey Group DOES NOT have Owners best interests at heart.
BEWARE

PJB LOVES being the CEO of a major company and palling around with McKinsey people. He just wishes that it wasn't a burger and fries company. I think that he;'s be happier as CEO of Sweetgreen. He can lose his own money and shareholder money there, instead of franchise owners' money

The current issue of Fortune magazine contains an extensive article on McKinsey. Caution: aggressive paywall.
