I truly wish that Chris K would just SHUT UP. He constantly spews statements that do not reflect any knowledge of the restaurant industry.

Chris K supports a higher minimum wage?
Is he speaking for ALL owners now?
Moronic

McD exits NRA yet stays in IFA, which is filled with Big Franchisors!
Seems like PBJ is not looking out for their "partners"!

Mcd pushes deep discounting, and does not oppose a higher minimum wage. Both of those acts erode Owner EQUITY

Did McDonalds even consult with the owners (NFLA) before doing the pull out? It seems that partners would at least discuss it with each other.

Food Bank?

Where's this "partners" stuff coming from? Does McDonald's Corp use that word? I guess I missed that change to the franchise agreement.

Richard. Every operator has an email box from McD saying “your.name@partners.mcd.com”

McDonalds has jokingly been calling operators "partners" for over 25 years !

Exiting the NRA is just plain stupid. Chris K is butthurt that Chili's CEO called MCD out on price and Chilis uses tipped workers that take the tip credit to lower the minimum wage. Chris K sells out his own franchise owners by making a friendly kiss deal with SEIU in California to jack up the minimum wage for fast food franchise workers to $20m while everyone else in the state is at $15. Maybe NRA doesn't want pajama boy turncoats

Chris K most definitely sold out the California MCD owners. Absolute betrayal . He absolutely emboldened the SEIU to try it again in another state, and they will!
