PJB nad His Strange Bedfellows

Jonathan Maze goes in-depth on why PJB has taken on the tip wage issue at this time. The answer? PJB is always looking for an opportunity to leverage the McDonald's brand to play politics and get his name on an issue.

Let's hope he doesn't waste system resources or distract Owner/Operators from important issues.

As an employer I've always been thankful I didn't have to deal with tipping and the complexities it adds to the business.
As a consumer I've always assumed that if there was no tipping the full service restaurant operator would have to raise prices so my ultimate bill would be the same.

PJB sided with the most odious of organized labor, SEIU, to thriow its franchisee operators under the bus in California. In exchange for avoiding being deemed a joint employer, McDonalds agreed that fast food chains (and only them) would agree to a mandatory $20/hour minimum wage. Chris K threw not only his own owner/operators under the bus, he screwed over other chains as well. Nice work making enemies of coffee shops, burrito shops and your competitor burger shops

After numerous years of spending the majority of our time promoting this app and not focusing on drive thru speed and attempting to sell full priced items, it potentially could Be time to switch the focus back to catering to 75 percent of our business rather than concentrating on downsizing our customers to appease McDonald’s infatuation with this app.
