Another Mcd throwaway hits gold.
IF McD is NOT a joint employer, then why is the Director of Operations in the Raleigh Region dictating Holiday hours of operation, and telling operators to inform Corp of any "variance" in OPEN hours during the Holidays?
She was a Fine Leader in Atlanta. Just got a little over her Skis. He must be miss guided.
If she was a "fine leader" she must have been part of the deep bench that the last two CEOs have destroyed.
What is and what does, an independant board member do?
As for a director asking to be open days/hours during the holidays and report hours I have no problem answering a question if asked but there is now way I would let a McD's corporate executive influence my business decision to be open or not certain days or hours. I have some restaurants open because it makes very good business sense and I have others closed and open all various some 24hrs. If asked why others are not open or closed X hours I just answer that is my business decision and I do not have time to review with "you" every business decision I make. That is probably the reason I have not grown in over ten years but I could careless and continue digress investments outside my McDonald's business.
