McDonald's Sales Bounce Back on Value Deals

"McDonald's has been intensifying its "messaging around value," noted Andy Barish, a

There is a huge gap between the $1 menu and core. Can't keep raising prices on Core. It widens the gap and customers are forced down. Moreover why do we need to offer our customer two different $1 sandwiches and a McChicken sandwich it makes it easy for them to stay on the $1 menu?
