It won't be good for business in any sector. I don't think it will matter to the workers unless they are motivated. If you are in poverty at $8.00 per hour they will be in poverty at $15.00 per hour. My experience over many years working thousands of people is that many don't want to work at any rate of pay. They will work long enough to get fired or quit to get government assistance. I know this is not a politically correct statement but I will stand by it. On the other hand there are many that work hard to live within their means and they will be helped. The current situation is really stupid. The government should butt out and let solid performance be the measure of income.
