Maybe he got tired of implementing 40-year-old discounting plans

Tariq's profile is till avalible on the MCD website. Here's his background:
"He served as the executive sponsor for Petco’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEI&B) advisory council and LGBTQ employee resource group, and he was a board member of the Adweek DE&I and ANA CMO Growth councils. Since 2014, he has sat on the global board of Education for Employment, a non-governmental organization that empowers marginalized youth across the Middle East and North Africa. Additionally, he worked with the Obama administration on efforts to counter-message young Americans at risk to religious extremism and systemic discrimination."

Note: In the Obama administration "religious extremism" was code for Christians and Jews who voted conservative.

Why do the Operators keep sending the same reps back to OPNAD? Any why dont we get a actual accounting of HOW our OPNAD rep voted????

Most of the press has picked up on the happy talk in the recent press release. If they discuss results, it's usually about various campaigns Hassan came up with. There's no discussion of sales results, guest counts, or inflationary menu increases.
See, if the pajama boys discuss any of Hassan's failures, they will then have to discuss a weakness in corporate performance.
So, with a few exceptions, executives leave with a glowing resume.

He was one of the driving forces behind the thug style endorsers of our Famous Meals. Good Riddance!

"Thug Style" is being kind. Those "artists" are actually pornographers who make millions selling their porn to underage children.
One of the things that impressed me about Larry Light was that he seemed to understand the McDonal'ds culture (more than we can say about this CEO) and would have never let that kind of thing become a co-promotion.
Suggestion for OPNAD members: Next time a creative genius from corp suggests a tie-in with an "artist," pull out your phone, type in the "artist's" name, and add the word "lyrics."
Then, read the lyrics out loud to the assembled OPNAD reps (or Co-Op members).
If you want some practice, do a search for "Cardi B Lyrics wap"

This is what DEI (Didn't Earn It) hiring gets you.

In the ad business you don't have to get results, you just have to create "Buzz" that impress other advertising people.
