This will surely embolden PJB and Co to do the same thing to us ! WILL ANYONE SPEAK UP????

I see 2026 as an unprofitable year because we will continue all this deep discounting. I think by 2027 the Owner community will wise up and refuse to go along with corporate plans for giveaways. We will come to our senses, but it will take another year.

Clueless corporate marketing dolts panick8ng and then falling love with their own ideas. Franchisees can only hope that they die on that stupid hill sooner rather than later.

Doubtful they'll die on that hill because endless Owner/Operator money gives them eternal life.

As much as I hate to say it, the above prediction is wishful thinking with NO CHANCE of occurring. Since 2018, owners have had the opportunity to band together, harnessing strength in numbers and unity, to influence Corporate via the NOA. The vast majority of the operator base has not done this, and therein has lost ant and all chances of standing up to corp and defending owner equity and interests. The company has so harassed and threatened owners so much that they are afraid to lobby for their own best interests. In light of this, corporate will continue to harass, threaten and intimidate individual owners to support corporate goals and agendas. The feckless NFLA is not the answer, they tow the company line like lemmings. So sad.

2026 discounting and freebies will far exceed the 2025 levels since owners will not band together and speak with one voice. PAC and equity will continue to decline.

That's a valid prediction for 2026. As stated before, PJB went from zero to hero in the last half of 2025 because the U.S. pulled out a meager sales increase in one quarter. Duplicating that in 2026 will require a huge amount of promotion and discounting.

Always true, but they have lost thousands (literally) of owners in the past few years since Fred DeLuca passed.
