7-Eleven Franchisees Bail on Convention

Lawyer says, "Don't call it a boycott".

‘I’ll be watching you,’ a Sting chorus, sounds too familiar to 7-Eleven ‘zees
.

“Every move you make, every step you take, I’ll be watching you,” and the chorus reminds him of what 7-Eleven franchisees feel in the stores. Sounds exactly like the current MCD system. Handcuffed to the MAX

There is no need to go to McDonald’s WWC anymore either just like 7-11 franchisee. As a franchisee there are no decisions I need to make, decors are picked for me, equipment rollouts are faster than I would be purchasing anything, so I am basically paying to hear corporate executives pat themselves on their back for any great results McDonald’s is having and tell me the opportunities I have in my restaurants, with service, people etc. no thanks I will be skipping WWC.

The WWC has not been relevant to an Operator for YEARS. Simply a waste of money and a dog & pony show.

Spent 28 years in the system and only went to two WWCs: First year as an operator and during a store rebuild. I'm sure they took names, but saved maybe $50k over the years! Big waste of time.
